ANGELES CITY HALL WORKERS TO GET MID-YEAR BONUS

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. ordered the release of mid-year bonus for the 1,313 City Hall employees in Angeles City — 966 permanent, 318 casual, 14 elected, and 15 contractual recently.

Flordeliza Santos, President of the Angeles City Employees for a New and Dynamic Angeles (AGENDA), expressed her gratitude to Lazatin for pushing through with the measure.

“Ramdam po namin ang malasakit at pagmamahal ni Mayor hindi lamang po sa siyudad kung ‘di pati sa mga empleyado.”

“Sa ngalan po ng mga kawani ng Angeles City Hall, we would like to thank Mayor Pogi Lazatin for always ensuring the timely release of the Mid-Year Bonus. Ramdam po namin ang malasakit at pagmamahal ni Mayor hindi lamang po sa siyudad kung ‘di pati sa mga empleyado,” Santos said.

“He always makes it a point that we, the employees are well taken cared for and with that, we are even more motivated to work hard towards his vision of a better Angeles City. Muli po, maraming salamat po Mayor Pogi Lazatin! Mabuhay po kayo,” she added.

The mayor, in turn, expressed that it is imperative for employees to be in receipt of cash bonuses for their hard work.

“Hindi po biro ang sakripisyo ng ating mga empleyado.”

“Higit na mahalaga po ang ano mang porma ng tulong para sa mga empleyado. Hindi po biro ang sakripisyo ng ating mga empleyado,” he said.

Lazatin also voiced his sincere thanks to the City Hall employees for their hard work.

“I am truly indebted to the City Hall employees, dahil po sa kanila ay patuloy pa rin ang operasyon ng pagbibigay serbisyo sa ating mga minamahal na Angeleño,” he stressed.

Angeles employees each got a one-month basic pay as bonus.

This measure is in reference to Republic Act No. 11466 and the National Budget Circular No. 579 issued by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) last January 24, 2020.
