Senator Bong Go has taken proactive measures to address the needs of families affected by a recent fire incident in Barangay San Juan, Surigao City.
45 households received essential relief, including both food and non-food items.
Additionally, direct financial assistance of P2,000 per household has been allocated to address their immediate needs.
“It is Sen. Bong Go’s priority to help affected families.”
Queenie Niña Laro of the Office of Senator Go’s Malasakit team led the distribution, highlighting that it is the legislator’s priority to help affected families.
Surigao City Mayor Pablo Yves Dumlao II, with City Social Welfare and Development Officer Lenie Liray and CSWDO Asst. Officer Mark Caven Salar, also attended the distribution.
In a brief statement, Dumlao assured the families that the City Government, along with the CSWDO, will keep working to help them during this tough time.
Go’s “Mr. Malasakit, Bisyo ay Magserbisyo” initiative aims to provide compassionate service to Filipinos in need.
A cheerful mascot was also present, bringing joy to the children affected by the fire in Barangay San Juan.
