The Civil Service Commission (CSC) and the City Government of Pasig conducted the 2024 HR Excellence Summit for PRIME-HRM Level II recently at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.
A collaboration between the CSC’s training arm, the Civil Service Institute and the City Government of Pasig, the Summit is a free one-day information session on the latter’s journey toward its Maturity Level II accreditation under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).
The event showcased the City’s best practices and experiences that contributed to achieving the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award.
In his opening remarks, CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles expressed gratitude to the City Government of Pasig and the more than 500 participants who are local chief executives, human resource management practitioners, and direct implementers of PRIME-HRM across the country.

The CSC chief also underscored the pivotal role of an advanced and progressive HRM in achieving the goals and aspirations of any government office.
He also commended the City Government of Pasig, led by Mayor Sotto and Pasig City HR Head Elvira Flores, for achieving PRIME-HRM Level II and creating a roadmap to achieving Level III for greater accomplishments in the area of HRM.
