Negros Oriental, under the leadership of Governor Chaco Sagarbarria, has taken a momentous step in showcasing its commitment to nurturing community engagement and promoting sports culture by extending its unreserved support to a forthcoming live basketball game featuring the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) players on July 15, 2023 in Dumaguete City.

The said game is part of PBA’s “On Tour” Exhibition Series, allowing basketball aficionados coming from the different towns and cities of the province to witness a live basketball game at the Macias Sports Complex.
Emmanuel Demaraig, the event organizer, has been very helpful in curating the basketball event that will bring together talented athletes from local and national teams.
