Ayala Land, Inc. has donated a 859-sqm property worth around P50M to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC).
This will be the site of the new PRC Cavite Chapter HQ, which will house vital services including the first-ever blood center in Cavite.
“Ayala Corporation has always been a very good corporate partner to the Philippine Red Cross, we are their partner of choice,” said PRC Chairman Dick Gordon.
“Cavite Chapter Chairman Gilbert Remulla found a lot, initially it was 500 sqm.”
“So we were looking for a place to solve the logistical needs of the province. Fortunately, Cavite Chapter Chairman Gilbert Remulla found a lot, initially it was 500 sqm. So kinausap ko ang Ayala, sabi ko, lakihan naman ninyo, wala kasi kami magagawa sa 500 sqm, hindi mararamdaman. So ginawa nilang 850 sqm,” Gordon explained.
“We will have a blood bank there, we’ll have our offices there, we can train young people and have our equipment there.”
“This is good because we will have a blood bank there, we’ll have our offices there, we can train young people and have our equipment there, malaking bagay iyan,” he added.
The ceremonial signing was attended by key representatives from both Ayala Land Inc. and PRC, including Gordon, PRC Secretary General Dr. Gwendolyn Pang, PRC Cavite Chapter Chairman Gilbert Remulla, Chairman of Ayala Property Management Corporation Bernard Vincent Dy, Ayala Land Estates Inc. Development Manager Moses Aragones, and the Group Head for Residential Business and Central Land Acquisition for Ayala Property Management Corporation Robert Lao.
