As part of its initiative to maintain quality infrastructure and enhance transport access, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed road improvement projects in the towns of Barotac Nuevo and Dumangas in the province of Iloilo.
DPWH Iloilo 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) has widened from two to four lanes a two-kilometer portion of Iloilo East Coast-Capiz Road in Barotac Nuevo.
“The road upgrade will help alleviate traffic congestion and ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians traversing the highway.”
