MISS MANILA PAGEANT MAKES A COMEBACK

The Miss Manila pageant makes a comeback as the city government recently signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Kreativ Den.

Joining Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna during the MOA signing were Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila OIC Charlie Duñgo, KreativDen Chief Executive Officer Zenaida Katerine Valenzuela and representative Dorothy Laxamana.

Lacuna described the traits of a Miss Manila as someone who has a “WOW” factor, or a “woman of worth.”

“She has to love herself first before she can love others.”

“Dapat po ang Miss Manila should be true to herself. She has to love herself first before she can love others,” the lady mayor stressed.

“She should embody the traits of a true Manileña and she should be a strong advocate of all of the rights,” she added.

Interested applicants must be a single female, between 18 to 30 years old.

Qualified applicants are required to prepare a TikTok video entry answering “what does it take to be a woman of worth in Manila?”
