The University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons continues to get support for their University Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 82 campaign as FRONTROW International, a dynamic and rapidly-expanding direct selling company in the health, beauty, and wellness industry in the country, became their newest backer.

It was earlier reported that the Fighting Maroons are now busy beefing-up for their UAAP Season 82 run with trainings to be done in camps in Las Vegas and Serbia, and a scheduled tournament in Taiwan.
UP is coming off a historic run in Season 81, where the Fighting Maroons made the Final 4 for the first time in 21 years.
Assistant coach Ricky Dandan also confirmed that the Fighting Maroons will be leaving for Las Vegas on June 14, then participate in a tournament in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in July. The team is also set to train in Serbia for the second year in a row.
Dandan added that the Fighting Maroons are “on track” in their preparations, and expects the team to improve further with their training at the overseas camps.
The tournament in Taiwan will also be crucial in terms of integrating acquisitions Kobe Paras and Ricci Rivero into the veteran team.
UP is coming off a historic run in Season 81, where the Fighting Maroons made the Final 4 for the first time in 21 years, then stunned Adamson University in the semifinals to advance to the championship round.
UP’s Cinderella run however was stopped in the championship round as the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles swept them in two games.
