820 BULACAN SENIORS TO WALK FOR WELLNESS

As part of the Elderly Filipino Week celebration, the province of Bulacan is honoring the elderly members of its community through a health and wellness activity dubbed as Healthy Brain, Healthy Life! Seniors’ Walk 2024 on November 7, 8:00 am which will begin from the Capitol Mini Forest Park to Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in the City of Malolos.

The 820 Bulakenyo senior citizens who will participate in the said activity are encouraged to walk for better brain health and overall well-being.

In partnership with the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Administrator’s Office, the Australian-Filipino Community Services Commission (AFCS) headed by its Chaplain Norminda Forteza, the event organizer, will lead the walk and facilitate the program afterwards.

The event will feature health screenings, wellness lectures and fun games.

Among the personalities who will join in the activity are Vice Gov. Alexis C. Castro, Secretary Dante Francis Ang II, Chairman of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas to be represented by Frencel Tingga, and Rev. Franklin Mariano.
