A total of 82 jobseekers hit the jackpot and were considered hired on the spot at the 2025 Ople Day Job Fair for Local and Overseas Employment, hosted by the Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PPESO) in honor of the 98th Birth Anniversary of Gat Blas F. Ople at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in the City of Malolos recently.
Out of the 721 eager jobseekers who showed up, 577 were qualified to apply and 82 aspirants were able to impress some of the 25 local employers and four overseas recruitment agencies with their qualifications.

Dalisay Ople-San Jose, representing the Ople family, graced the job fair to motivate and uplift the Bulakenyo jobseekers.
Meanwhile, Governor Daniel Fernando urged the jobseekers to seize the opportunity and showcase their skills and talents.
“Hindi naman kami kukuha ng mga kumpanya na gagawa ng kabulastugan dahil kami ang unang-unang kalaban niyan kapag nagkataon.”
“Kapag nabigyan kayo ng pagkakataon diyan, tiyaga-tiyaga lang po tayo at siyempre huwag mawawala ang panalangin at dasal, lalo doon sa mangingibang bansa, malalayo sa pamilya mag-ingat po kayo. Dito, hindi naman kami kukuha ng mga kumpanya na gagawa ng kabulastugan dahil kami ang unang-unang kalaban niyan kapag nagkataon,” Fernando said.
“Good luck sa inyong lahat, basta kayo ay makuha diyan ingat po kayo at pagbutihin ninyo. Ipakita ninyo na ang Bulakenyo ay magagaling magtrabaho,” the governor added.
Aside from job hunting, attendees also enjoyed free haircuts and massages.
