Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando led the distribution of emergency cash assistance to 5,496 Bulakenyos during the “Pamamahagi ng Cash Assistance (Emergency Cash Transfer) sa mga Biktima ng Bagyong Egay at Habagat” held at The Pavilion in Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in the City of Malolos.
The said financial assistance from President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. and Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rex Gatchalian totaled to P28,000,167 and were distributed to Bulakenyos from the Cities of Malolos, Baliwag, Meycauayan and San Jose Del Monte and towns of Hagonoy, Paombong, Balagtas, Bocaue, Santa Maria, Calumpit, Pandi, Plaridel, Angat, DRT, Norzagaray, San Ildefonso, Obando, and San Miguel.
Fernando thanked Marcos and Gatchalian for the support and hopes that the beneficiaries will put it to good use.
“Nawa ay magamit ito sa maayos na pamamaraan.”
“Kaya po kami nandito ay upang makapagbigay ng tulong sa bawat isa sa inyo. Nawa ay magamit ito sa maayos na pamamaraan. Sana ay makatulong ito sa inyo, gamitin ninyo ito sa matalinong paggastos,” Fernando said.
“‘Yung iba ay gamitin ninyo sa pagnenegosyo at sa pang araw-araw na pangangailangan.”

The Emergency Cash Transfer will push through until Thursday, October 26, 2023.
