Four barangays (villages) in Davao City are recipients of patient transport vehicles (PTVs) and financial aid for the elderly through the office of 1st District Representative Paolo Duterte.
Duterte’s office said the vehicles were turned over to the leaders of barangays Langub, 22-C, 23-C, and Bago Aplaya by the lawmaker’s son, Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II.
The lawmaker’s office said the PTVs were provided in cooperation with ACT-CIS Partylist Representative Edvic Yap, and Benguet Representative Eric Yap.
“The (PTVs) aims to address the immediate response of health programs and services in barangays, especially to far-flung communities of the first district.”

To date, the veteran legislator’s office has distributed at least 16 PTVs to its barangay officials.
“We are looking forward to providing the entire 54 barangays with transporters and ambulance trikes, as well,” the seasoned lawmaker said.
Meanwhile, at least 36 senior citizens in Barangay Matina Aplaya also received medical assistance from the lawmaker’s office.
The office also facilitated a free check-up at the health center in the same barangay.
